Hello,

I’m an Emmy Award-winning documentary filmmaker and podcaster who likes to work in the places most people run from — black markets, dark web chatrooms, and storyboards more tangled than a Reddit conspiracy theory.

I'm drawn to stories that live in the margins — where legality blurs, trust is hard-earned, and power is contested.

Most recently, I was a producer on three seasons of the TV series Trafficked with Mariana van Zeller for National Geographic, scripting award-winning episodes and building trust with sources inside black markets — from smugglers to ransomware attackers.

I also produced two Ambie-nominated seasons of The Trafficked Podcast and a serialized audio investigation for Campfire Studios examining a wrongful death row conviction tied to cartel hitmen.

My reporting roots are in California, investigating labor and sex trafficking cases. I’ve sat through trials, filed FOIAs, and combed through boxes of federal court documents stacked taller than me — all while listening, often off the record, to people navigating impossible systems.

I live in Brooklyn with my partner and a motley crew of rescue animals.
